Community Arts Academy Visual Arts Classes

Your child will develop innate talents and find new creative paths while exploring varied art making techniques in hands-on, interactive art classes. Each child receives individual attention and encouragement in these research-based classes taught by a visual arts professional.

Travel the world through art! They are introduced to art from Japan, Egypt, France & more. Each week will bring a new experience, introducing and expanding a range of drawing and painting skills.

Discussions about themes within the art will help connect to students' own experiences, which will guide their art-making choices.

Students will also be introduced to a range of popular art movements, including Cubism, Pop Art, Abstract, Op Art, and more. They will explore a variety of art-making techniques in drawing, painting, and collage. Students will create original artwork inspired by famous artists’ styles and their own experiences.
